This is the food and wine festival not to miss this spring

Celebrate the best in sustainable food and wine this November

Two-day food and wine festival Rootstock Sydney is coming back this spring and is promising to be bigger and better than ever. From 25 to 26 November, the event promoting organic farming, practice and, of course, pure indulgence is taking place at Carriageworks.

โ€œRootstock Sydney is unique because it promotes farmers and producers, not sales people,โ€ says co-founder James Hird.โ€œThe goal is to create a dialogue about food, wine and sustainability.โ€

While youโ€™re there, savour delicious bites from top chefs such as Kylie Kwong of Billy Kwong, Monty Koludrovic of Icebergs Dining Room and Bar and David Moyle of LongSong. Love your wines? Youโ€™ll be spoilt for choice. Sip on some artisanal drops from Shobbrook, Hochkirch and Lucy Margaux Vineyards.

โ€œThis year the food will evolve throughout the day,โ€ says co-founder Giorgio De Maria. โ€œWeโ€™re collaborating with chefs from across the country with very different styles and weโ€™re incorporating indigenous foods which naturally flows on from the eventโ€™s focus on sustainability.โ€

And once youโ€™ve satisfied all your culinary needs, enjoy some art, music and informative talks.
