The wait is over. Target Australia is launching its new Field of Dreams homewares collection and you won’t be disappointed – whether or not you’re already a fan of Target home decor, it’s affordable interior decorating you can embrace to make your own signature style shine through.
Covering every room in the house, the range looks to the very latest interior trends in fabrics and materials and craftsmanship – velvet textures in upholstery, cushions and towel sets, woven natural materials in accents and furniture and beautiful artisan-style ceramics to layer on your dining table and dot in vignettes around your home.
Colours are contemporary, based on a calming colour palette that evokes the colours of Australia – terracotta, coastal blues and sage greens – with just a touch of gold detailing.
We’re crushing hard on the new rattan pieces in particular – dining chairs ($79) and the cutest little bench seat ($79) that will literally sit anywhere in your home – coffee table, balcony, bedroom or hallway. Tie in with affordable and fun accessories such as baskets (from $15) and linen hampers ($39) and you’ll be able to continue the look right through your home.

There’s plenty here to work in with your own current home furnishings and existing Target home decor. Lovely new bedlinens to give your bedroom a boost, fluffy towels in new season hues to refresh your bathroom and go-to furniture pieces such as upholstered ottomans ($29) in pretty décor colours – the perfect accent for your living room, walk-in wardrobe or kid’s bedroom.
