The thing about a round dining table is it’s often overlooked in favour of a rectangular option, but it’s such an incredible solution for unique dining spaces. Small, awkward or multipurpose rooms can benefit from using round dining tables, and nobody will ever guess it was a design trick as they also look so beautiful.
Depending on the diameter and your choice of chair, they can often seat up to six people. So most households will find a round dining table absolutely perfect for everyday use. It’s likely you can find an option that’s quite adequate for a large group, too.
This is our round dining table edit.

When should you not use a round dining table?
When choosing a table shape and size, be sure to mark out the measurements in your space. It should fill it out enough so it looks like it makes sense, but with room around it to move comfortably. A round dining table is generally going to best suit a more square area, while a rectangular or oval table will suit a long and narrow area.
Do round tables take up less room?
Round dining tables can give the impression that they take up less space as they can be placed in a corner, allowing for easy flow around them. They’re often the best fit for compact spaces or rooms with smaller dimensions.
