Situated in one of the coolest cities in the world, Normann Copenhagen flagship store and showroom is a completely different take on a regular furniture store.
Established in 1999 by Jan Andersn and Poul Madsen, the concept store changes the entire store fit out with a different theme every 18 months.
An unusual take on a shop, Normann Copenhagen heralds a sustainable approach to homewares – making quality objects that last. This notion renders the experience more like a gallery visit, with chairs standing on strange angles and an amazing curation of colour throughout.
Its previous incarnation realised in Millennial pink, currently having a moment is gold in all its glory – think gold everywhere – shiny alfoil-like material scrunched in corners, juxtaposed with golden rugs leading you all over the expansive store.
The store itself is stocked up with the latest cutting-edge fashion and brimming with offerings in one of our favourite passions – Scandinavian homewares. Wind you way through to the downstairs area where you’ll discover many different rooms spilling off at all angles. All are filled with furniture and homewares that strictly adhere to the colour theme of the season.
With a range running from furniture and lighting to stationary, this shop has everything you could possibly need (and more you didn’t know you needed!). Defiantly a must-see if you’re ever in town!
