The lifestyle brand spearheaded by Gwyneth Paltrow has launched a new range of eclectic furniture and décor pieces that has taken our breath away.
In a collaboration with Crate & Barrel’s “more modern” sister company, Goop x CB2 is a collection designed to, they say, “…meets the needs of modern families.”
The look is fresh and vibrant yet luxurious, with stunning fabrics and finishes and plenty of attention to detail. The HB team are in raptures – impressed by everything from the ‘curvo’ pink velvet sofa, to the ‘curve ball match striker’. “I don’t know what this is but I have to have it in my life!” says HB acting creative director Julia Hoolahan.
Explore confident new shapes in glassware, organic curvey concrete coffee tables, ingenious champagne-gold industrial shelving units (why haven’t we thought of this?!) and leather-clad credenzas – it’s hard not to be inspired.
Whether because you can’t have too much pink velvet in your home or you’re in the market for a white velvet modular sofa, check it out.
“There’s a layered quality—pieces from different places and times, accented by nostalgic objects amassed over the years.”
Gwyneth Paltrow, Goop, Founder + CEO
Whilst this range doesn’t yet ship to Australia we live in hope – CB2 is the sister company to Crate & Barrel and are now shipping items from their range to Australia at large, so there may be hope that Goop x CB2 will follow suit.
Watch this space and meanwhile simply take divine inspiration from the forms and fabrics, or look locally to West Elm and Pottery Barn to seek similar pieces.
