Inside Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi’s new Montecito Tudor home

The couple's latest real estate purchase is one of their most unusual houses

Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia De Rossi have added yet another home to their property portfolio, an authentic English Tudor home in Montecito, California.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is made from two English Tudor structures that were built in the mid-1700s in England. The structures were dismantled and shipped to the US, where they were rebuilt to create the home.

The two buildings are connected by an ‘orangerie’ – a glass structure that houses fruit trees. The design-savvy couple love real estate and this is the third property they have purchased in the Montecito area.

The traditional-style home features tall ceilings, dark wood and lead glass windows. Both structures feature a specious living room with a traditional fireplace. There’s also a study, formal dining room, a large kitchen and breakfast room.
