Kitchen
The kitchen workspaces of the white kitchen are clad in crisp Carrara marble from Corsi Nicolai. Classic American design is conveyed through the detailed joinery, Hamptons-style pendants from Coastal Living and ‘Gilmore’ polished nickel drawer pulls from Restoration Hardware.
Dining room
The ‘Slab End’ teak dining table and bench seats were a family-friendly find from Bayside Furniture, with a Dash & Albert rug underneath (available from Zanui). Wattyl’s Rock Oyster hue adorns the walls, accentuating the dining zone’s white architectural elements.
Living room
The comfy Molmic couch and Coastal Living armchairs are all dressed in textured sandy tones to reflect the home’s beachside surrounds. Striped cushions from Big Chair and a Dash & Albert cotton rug in Staffordshire Stripe add to the subtle nautical vibe. A wicker trunk from Big Chair doubles as a coffee table. The homowner was meticulous with the flooring throughout the home and chose chestnut timber floorboards with an ebony stain.
Ensuite
The beachy bathroom has a light and airy vibe, thanks to limestone floor tiles from Stone And Tile Centre and shimmering mother-of-pearl mosaic wall tiles. Generous storage is provided by a custom-made vanity, and a towel ladder from Coastal Living is a relaxed addition. The polished nickel ‘Hamburg’ wall sconce is from Barn Light.
Main bedroom
The couple’s show-stopping four-poster bed was bought online from Hudson Furniture. The Coastal Living side tables and lamps and ‘Madras’ rugs by Freedom all add to the room’s tropical feel.
Bedroom
The star-patterned throw was an unexpected find in a hotel gift shop after a long search (try Linen House for similar). The wall-mounted rack is by Coastal Living.
Outdoors
The crystal clear pool has a quintessential Caribbean feel, which the homeowner puts down to clever tile selection. White tiles line the pool to give the water a light colour. Along the waterline, an iridescent tile was used which shimmers like the white sand in the Bahamas, while less expensive plain white tiles were used below.
Playroom
In the kids’ hangout, a workspace for homework time has been created with steel chairs from Saltwater Trading and a shelving unit from Coastal Living. The mason jar pendants were found in the US. Try Etsy for similar.
