Sparkling silver bathroom

This family bathroom, devised by architect Scott Weston, is clad in 10mm x 10mm ‘glazed micromosaic blend’ tiles from Academy Tiles in shimmering grey, a chic alternative to all-out white. Scott curved the floor up to meet the pane of mirror above, a move that eliminates a potentially grime-harbouring join between wall and floor. The bath is Kaldewei ‘Vaio’ Duo bath and surround, from Reece, teamed with a Brodware ‘City Stik spout and mixer from Cass Brothers. 

Twin Roca ‘Diverta’ basins from Reece are paired with ‘Fantini’ basin mixers from Rogerseller. The extensive mirrors help bounce light around the space, highlighting the gleam of the tiles.

A recessed shelf highlights the stunning mosaic splashback and is ideal for storing pamper products and toiletries.

The remaining walls and ceiling are wrapped in 1.2m x 3m panels of 4mm-thick, solid-grade ‘Stratificato’ laminate in Lucida, a grout-free alternative to tiles with a pearlescent finish. The ‘Fantini’ basin shower mixer and Waterose ‘Spin’ shower head were both found at Rogerseller.
